An element a presentation marks as persistent is now one running object across consecutive slides instead of being rebuilt on each one. Going back, seeking and dissolves keep it continuous, and a 3D scene moves between named poses as the slides change. A multi-chapter presentation that explains one thing from several angles can keep that thing on screen the whole way through.
