Privacy Policy

    Last updated: June 20, 2026

    1. Introduction

Bisque (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates Bisque Presenter — the website at bisque.cloud and the Bisque Presenter macOS app (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Please review it to understand how we handle your information.

    2. Information We Collect

    • Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and basic profile from your Google account.
    • Your Content. The prompts, voice briefs, documents, and other inputs you provide, and the presentations (slides, narration audio, and thumbnails) the Service generates and stores for you — referred to as “Your Content” in our Terms of Service.
    • Usage and analytics data. How you interact with the Service — features used, events, and aggregate metrics — collected with Google Analytics and stored in BigQuery.
    • Device and technical data. Information such as your IP address, browser or app version, and device type.
    • Payment information. If you subscribe to Plus, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing details — such as your subscription status and the brand and last four digits of your card — but not your full card number.

    3. How We Use Your Information

    • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating and storing your presentations
    • Process your subscription and payments
    • Understand how the Service is used and improve the product
    • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
    • Detect, prevent, and address security issues, abuse, and fraud
    • Comply with legal obligations

    4. AI Generation and Your Inputs

To generate a presentation, your inputs — and, for narration, the text to be voiced — may be sent to third-party AI and voice providers that perform the generation on our behalf. We use these providers to operate the Service. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train AI models.

    5. Google User Data and Limited Use

When you connect a Google account to Bisque, you authorize access to specific Google data through Google’s OAuth consent screen. We request only the scopes required to operate the features you enable:

    • gmail.readonly — to read messages and metadata so the assistant can search, summarize, and answer questions about your mail at your request.
    • gmail.modify — to organize your mailbox on your behalf (apply or remove labels, mark messages read, archive) when you ask it to. This scope does not permit permanent deletion that bypasses Trash.
    • gmail.send — to send or reply to email on your behalf when you explicitly direct it to.

Bisque’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

    • We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above.
    • We do not transfer Google user data to others except as necessary to provide or improve these features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with appropriate safeguards.
    • We do not use Google user data for advertising.
    • We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless: (a) we have your affirmative consent for specific messages, (b) it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (c) it is required to comply with applicable law, or (d) the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
    • We do not use your Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

You can review or revoke Bisque’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

    6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:

    • Service providers. With vendors who operate the Service on our behalf — including Google (Firebase and Google Cloud) for hosting and authentication, Stripe for payments, and AI and voice providers for generating presentations and narration
    • When you publish. Presentations you choose to publish are made public (see “Published Presentations” below)
    • To comply with law or a valid legal request
    • To protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, and us, and to prevent fraud or abuse
    • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets — in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy or give you notice and choice as required by law before your information becomes subject to a materially different policy
    • With your consent or at your direction

    7. Published Presentations

When you publish a presentation, its contents — slide text, narration, thumbnail, and the username and slug in its share link — become publicly accessible to anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines. Only publish content you intend to be public. You can unpublish a presentation at any time, though cached copies may persist temporarily.

    8. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies to run the Service and analytics identifiers (Google Analytics) to measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without essential cookies.

    9. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. To delete your account and content, use the account-deletion option in the app or email hello@bisque.today; we action verified requests within 30 days. After deletion, your presentations and inputs are removed from our active systems and purged from backups within 90 days. We may retain limited records we are required to keep — such as Stripe transaction records for tax and accounting, and de-identified or aggregate analytics that no longer identify you.

    10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including reputable cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud) and encryption in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any required authorities as the law requires.

    11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to or restrict our processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. You can exercise these rights by managing your account or by emailing us at hello@bisque.today. You can also opt out of non-essential emails at any time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

    12. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect (identifiers, internet and usage activity, and commercial information), to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. We use Google Analytics, which may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out by emailing hello@bisque.today or by using a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

    13. EEA, UK, and Swiss Residents (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process your personal data under these legal bases: to perform our contract with you (providing the Service and processing payments); our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service and preventing abuse); your consent (non-essential analytics and marketing emails, which you may withdraw at any time); and to comply with legal obligations. The data controller is Bisque (hello@bisque.today). You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

    14. International Data Transfers

We operate on Google Cloud infrastructure and may process and store information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), or our providers’ certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by emailing hello@bisque.today.

    15. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 — or the age of digital consent in your country — and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

    16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page, update the “Last updated” date, and take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes.
